Nihilist Motivational Posters

A response to the blight of the interconnected social media era: the motivational quote. Easily shared, used to smugly signal how deep and profound you are, and betraying in my eyes and incredible egocentricism and lack of perspective, nothing makes my blood boil more than easily digestible bits of wisdom that one can share on Facebook or Instagram with a winky emoji face and #truth. In response to seeing one too many Marilyn Monroe quotes on rainy backdrops I've started a series of Nihilist posters offering pearls of wisdom to brighten up any wall-space, digital or physical. Instead of casually posting a quote about being "strong", or "loving with all your heart", why not ponder the meaninglessness of existence? Or, ask your friends whether the suffering of millions of lives everyday negates the traditional view of a God and/or morality? With these bite-sized tidbits, you're sure to get the conversation rolling and probably a text from your concerned mother asking if you're feeling alright.
